Seven districts of Bihar (Purnia, Supaul, Farbisganj in Araria, Sabour in Bhagalpur, Motihari, Khagaria and Katihar) have recorded heat wave on Friday. The maximum temperature here is five to six degrees Celsius above normal. In Bihar The highest temperature of 42.8 degree Celsius has been recorded in Khagaria.

On Friday, Jiradei, Sheikhpura, Bhagalpur, Valmikinagar, Patna, Banka, Gaya, Nawada, Jamui, Aurangabad, Nalanda, Chhapra, Bhojpur, Darbhanga, Dehri, Vaishali, Begusarai and Samastipur recorded a temperature of 40 degree Celsius or more. Tremendous hot wind is blowing in all these districts as well.
