Ranchi: The court of Justice Ratnakar Bhengra of Jharkhand High Court heard the bail petition of the accused in the money laundering case related to the purchase and sale of army-occupied land located in Bariatu. After hearing the applicant’s side during the hearing of the case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) was directed to file a reply. A request was made from the ED to give time, which was accepted by the court. The court fixed October 11 for the next hearing in the case. Before this, a request was made on behalf of the applicants to give bail. It is noteworthy that bail petition has been filed on behalf of applicants Amit Kumar Aggarwal and Dilip Kumar Ghosh.
He has challenged the order of the special ED court. The special court had rejected his bail plea. Former Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan, Amit Kumar Aggarwal, Dilip Kumar Ghosh, Nucleus Mall owner Vishnu Aggarwal, Revenue Sub Inspector of Badgai Zone Bhanu Pratap, Pradeep Bagchi, land traders have been arrested by ED in the case related to illegal purchase and sale of land. Charge sheet has been filed against Afsar Ali, Imtiaz Khan, Talha Khan, Faiyaz Khan, Mohammad Saddam.
Bhanu Pratap did not get bail
Bhanu Pratap did not get bail. The court of special ED judge Dinesh Rai on Wednesday rejected the bail plea of revenue sub-inspector of Badgai zone Bhanu Pratap, accused in land scam. On September 27, the court had reserved the decision after completing the hearing of both the parties. Let it be known that Bhanu was arrested by ED in April this year. Bhanu is accused of army land scam at Bariatu and buying and selling land on Cheshire Home Road with the help of fake documents.
