PM Modi Har Ghar Tiranga DP Appeal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged people to put a picture of the tricolor in the display picture (DP) of their social media accounts as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. Modi has also put the picture of the national flag in the DP of his social media accounts. On Friday, the Prime Minister had called upon the people to participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement from August 13 to 15.

The Union Culture Secretary said that there are about 26 crore families in India and almost all of them hoist the flag in their premises, which is a reflection of respect and love for the country. Last year, around six crore selfies with the Indian flag were uploaded on the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ website. He said that we are hopeful that this time this figure will increase. The government is celebrating ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign from 13-15 August under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence.
The sky will be filled with kites with slogans of freedom
According to the news agency PTI, on August 15, the sky of Delhi and surrounding areas will be buzzing with kites printed with slogans like Prime Minister Modi’s picture, the world’s largest political party and Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
