On January 22, the government has taken a big step regarding the consecration of Ram Temple and has given half-day holiday in all government offices. The Central Government has announced to remain closed for half a day till 2:30 pm on 22 January 2024 for all Central Government offices, Central Institutions and Central Industrial Establishments across India on the occasion of Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Ceremony. A notification related to this has been issued by the government.

Why has half day leave been given?
In the notification issued by the government, it has been said that the consecration ceremony of Ram temple is being organized in Ayodhya on 22 January. In such a situation, employees of all government offices, government institutions and industrial institutions have been given leave till 2.30 pm to participate in this program. This half-day leave will be applicable only to central employees. Besides, all departments and ministries have also been asked to implement this order.
