Gyanvapi Survey: ASI will present the survey report of Gyanvapi complex in the court today, the truth will come out after 100 days!

Gyanvapi Survey Report: A decision will be taken on Friday in the matter of handing over the survey report of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) of the Gyanvapi complex in Varanasi to the court. Till Thursday, there was confusion over whether the ASI would submit its report in this matter or ask for additional time. It is being said that after about 100 days of investigation, SSI can submit its report to the court in a sealed envelope on Friday, while there is also talk that due to the teams coming from different places and festival holidays, the report is ready. There has been a delay in happening. Therefore, it will not be possible to file the report on behalf of ASI in the District Judge’s court on Friday. In such a situation, ASI can once again request the court to give additional time to prepare and present the report. On July 21, the court of District Judge Dr. Ajay Krishna Vishwesh had ordered ASI to survey the Gyanvapi complex. In this, it was asked to survey all the places except the sealed bathroom. After this, the ASI team started the survey work from July 24. On November 2, the ASI told the court that the survey had been completed. 15 more days are needed to prepare the report. On this, the court ordered to file the survey report by 17th November. Now all eyes are on submitting the ASI report to the court.

Experts from across the country participated in the survey

ASI experts from across the country had joined the team that conducted the survey at Gyanvapi in Varanasi. Under the leadership of Deputy Director Dr. Alok Kumar Tripathi, archaeological experts from Sarnath, Prayagraj, Patna, Kolkata and Delhi did the survey work. A team of experts had come from Hyderabad to study using GPR technology.

Five women including Rakhi Singh have filed the application

Talking about this matter, the survey of Gyanvapi complex was started on the orders of the District Court on the petition of five women including Rakhi Singh of Delhi demanding the right to worship the idols including Shringar Gauri. According to the plaintiff women, for years, Adi Vishweshwar, Mata Parvati, Shringaar Gauri, Hanumanji and other idols have been present in the Gyanvapi complex, which were earlier damaged by foreign invaders and covered with debris. Some idols including Shringaar Gauri are currently visible. But, there is a ban on his worship.

Claims made by both sides

The Hindu side said in its petition that people of other sects are trying to damage these idols also. While hearing this, the court took the action of the court commission, in which the Hindu side called the figure in front of the Vajukhana as Shivalinga while the Muslim side called it a fountain. Later the Wajukhana was sealed on the orders of the apex court. On the demand of the Hindu side, the court ordered a scientific survey of the remaining parts of the complex to verify the facts without causing any damage. ASI conducted continuous survey in the complex from 4th August to 3rd November. ASI will submit its report in the court on Friday. For the first time, the Gyanvapi complex has been tested in a scientific manner. The issue of survey demand was debated not only in the District Judge but also in the High Court and the Supreme Court. Now, considering the seriousness of the matter, the government has directed to keep a special eye on the security arrangements of the District Sessions Court complex.
