Story of ‘Guns and Roses’
In ‘Guns and Roses’, Adarsh Gaurav plays Chhota Ganchi, the heir to a drug empire. Chhota Ganchi wants to make his father feel proud. No criminal drama is complete without the police. In this, Dulquer Salmaan is in the role of officer Arjun Verma. Tired of his mundane lifestyle, the honest policeman turns to a life of lawlessness in search of a quick buck. The easiest way for Arjun to do this is to eliminate the drug kingpin. For this he meets Chhota Ganchi.
Gulshan Devaiah will be seen in a different role in ‘Guns and Roses’
Gulshan Devaiah will be seen in a different character in ‘Guns and Roses’. Gulshan is playing the role of ‘4 Kat Atmaram’, who is known to kill spirits with just four strokes of the switchblade. It is a testament to the writing of Raj and DK and Suman Kumar that Guns N’ Roses, despite its few flaws, manages to keep you hooked till the end. Guns N’ Roses also unfolds a tale of revenge, heartbreak and a taste of sweet innocence through the eyes of three classmates. Let us tell you that you will also see the late Satish Kaushik in the series, who is in the character of Ganchi’s father. Apart from this it also has Pooja Gore.

Guns N’ Gulab is fueled by a quartet of wonderful performances by Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, Gulshan Devaiah and Adarsh Gaurav. The large ensemble cast is no less impressive, with TJ Bhanu shining brightly in a male-dominated series. Pooja Gor and Shreya Dhanwantri have little to do, but they too make their presence felt. Vipin Sharma is strong as Ganchi’s right hand Mahendra.

Whereas, in a conversation with Filmfare.com, filmmaker Raj talked about the casting of Rajkumar Rao and Dulquer Salmaan for Guns and Roses. He added that, “The show is more about the character details, quirks and nuances than the overall plot. Gang war is the background. So we needed the right actors to come in and do it. Rajkumar Rao has a huge range. Here he plays a lover boy who turns into a dreaded gangster. But the interesting thing is that he is not responsible for this. We needed that swag for Dulquer’s character. We needed a man to come into this small town from outside and start owning it. He may appear to be a simple man, a romantic guy with wife and kids who listens to music. But there is something more in him.
