Rakesh Kumar Sahu (32), resident of Patel Chowk, was stabbed and injured by two youths riding a scooter near Mahavir Chowk of the city. The incident happened on Friday night. Injured Rakesh Kumar Sahu told that he was standing near Mahavir Chowk. Then a young man came in the street from Badaik Mohalla on a blue colored scooter and called me. I did not go to him. After which he went towards Badaik Mohalla. After five minutes he came back again with a boy. Then both of them came near me, took out knives from their waists and attacked me quickly. The name of the knifeman is said to be Pawan. He said that he previously lived in Badaik Mohalla and had gone somewhere after selling his land and house. The wind blows like Gumla. After the incident, both the youths fled towards Jashpur Road. Pawan also has a criminal history in the past. He has also been to jail several times. After treatment at Sadar Hospital, the doctor referred the seriously injured youth to RIMS Ranchi. Gumla police station is investigating the matter.
