Gumla Crime News: Major criminal incident averted in Gumla

Gumla: Gumla police arrested four accused with weapons near Patel Chowk in the city late on Saturday night. According to the police, he was planning to carry out some major incident. Three country-made pistols and 12 bullets have been recovered from them. Superintendent of Police Shambhu Kumar said these things in a press conference on Sunday. He told that all four had criminal history in the past. The arrested accused include Munna Sahu, Suraj Kumar Singh, Shubham Kumar and Bablu Sahu, residents of Chapka in Ghaghra block. Three country-made pistols and 12 bullets have been recovered from them.

This is how the arrest happened

According to the information, SP Shambhu Kumar Singh received secret information that 4 suspicious persons were sitting near Patel Chowk of the city. After this, Gumla police station in-charge Surendra Singh received instructions to investigate the matter and take further action. After receiving the information, police station in-charge Surendra Kumar Singh reached the incident site with his team. Seeing the police, all four of them started running. This made the police suspicious of him. After this, the armed forces chased those persons and caught them.

Have committed many criminal incidents

When Gumla police strictly interrogated all the accused, it came to light that they had committed many criminal incidents in the past. During the search, three country-made pistols, 4 303 mm bullets, 3 315 mm bullets and 12 bore bullets were recovered from them. Let us tell you that all these people have previously gone to jail for many crimes including Arms Act, robbery, theft etc. Apart from police station in-charge Surendra Singh, police sub-inspector Ankit Kumar, Havildar Namjad Samad, Havildar Ramdhan Oraon and many others are included in the raiding team.
