Ground of multi level parking in Lucknow caved in, father and daughter killed, 12 injured

Lucknow News: Late Thursday night in the capital Lucknow, a part of an under-construction apartment suddenly collapsed near Kalindi Park in Sector-12 area of ​​PGI. This is said to be part of multi-level parking. 12 people were buried under the debris after five huts of laborers were hit by it. On receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot. After this, fire brigade and SDRF teams were called. The team immediately started the rescue operation and took out the people buried under the debris and admitted them to Trauma-2, where Pratapgarh resident Mukadam and his two-month-old newborn daughter Ayesha died.

According to local people, the basement floor of the under-construction apartment was excavated with a JCB on Thursday afternoon. Due to this, the building got damaged and some part of it collapsed late in the night. Sunil, a resident of BKT, who works as a laborer in an under-construction apartment, told that he lives in a hut on the other side of the road. At night all the laborers lay down after eating and drinking. Some were inside the hut and some were outside due to the heat.

He told that at around 11:30 he suddenly heard a loud bang. It felt as if a bomb had exploded. When he came out in a hurry, he saw that a part of the under-construction apartment had collapsed and the huts had been engulfed in it. He immediately jumped into the debris and started searching for people. Meanwhile, police and firemen arrived and the rescue operation was started.

According to people, there were four men, two children and a woman in five huts. Five other laborers were also standing at the time of the incident. Those people also fell into the apartment as part of it collapsed. People somehow pulled out all five and admitted them to the hospital. Many apartments have been built near the under construction apartment. After the accident, people came out of their homes. There is panic among the local residents due to the accident.

ADCP East Ali Abbas said that an apartment named Antriksh Abril Green is being constructed. Many laborers have built five huts on the adjacent road and are living with their families. ADCP said that seven people have been rescued. People buried under the debris were rescued by 1 o’clock in the night. Everyone was admitted to Trauma-2.

Among the deceased are 35-year-old Mukadam and two-month-old Ayesha, resident of Pratapgarh. Apart from this, Abhijeet Kumar, Chandan Kumar, Inspector, Ruksana, Golu, Afsana, Lalbabu and four others have been injured.
