Ranchi: A joint meeting of left parties CPI, CPI (M), CPI (ML) and MAS was held at the MLA state office in the capital Ranchi. In this Hemant Soren Political crisis arising from the Governor not taking a quick decision on the claim that Champai Soren, the new leader of the JMM-Congress-RJD alliance, presented letters of majority support to Governor CP Radhakrishnan to form the government after resigning from the post of Chief Minister. Governor working inspired by BJP

Leaders of Left parties said that the Governor is working on government formation inspired by BJP’s politics. For this reason there is deliberate delay in taking decisions. Due to this situation of indecision, an atmosphere of anarchy is being created in Jharkhand. Along with this, it is creating an undemocratic danger of promoting horse trading and violating the mandate of the people of the state.

Demand to respect the mandate

Left parties said that when a similar political situation arose in Bihar, the Governor had taken a quick positive decision on the claim put forward by the leader of the legislature party for government formation. Therefore, the Left parties of the state have demanded the Governor to take a decision on the claim put forward to form the government as soon as possible and to respect the people’s mandate by immediately forming the government in the state.

Hemant Soren’s arrest is an attack on democracy

Left parties said that the arrest of outgoing Chief Minister Hemant Soren by misusing the ED is an attack on the federal system and democracy of the country by the BJP and now in the current political situation of the state, the possibility of a new attack due to misuse of the Governor’s powers has increased.
