CM Hemant Sarkar is the first Chief Minister of the state, who reached Budha Pahad, which is considered to be the stronghold of Naxalites in Jharkhand. In the month of January this year, Chief Minister Hemant Soren had gone to the highly Naxal affected Budha Pahad and met the villagers there. During this time, he did not go there empty handed, but reached among the villagers with development schemes worth Rs 5.279 crore. Let us tell you that Budha Pahar had been a Naxal affected area for a long time. After continuous efforts of the state and central forces, recently after a special operation in September 2022, success has been achieved in freeing this area from Naxals.
