Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is going to give a big gift to the people of Rajasthan. In Rajasthan, people will get cheaper cylinders under the Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme from Monday. Beneficiary festival will be organized in all 33 districts of the state.
At the state level function to be held in Jaipur, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will transfer Rs 60 crore to the bank accounts of 14 lakh beneficiaries at the press of a button. Gehlot will also interact with 10 people on this occasion.
What is Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme: According to the information, under the Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme, the state government has decided to give gas cylinders to 76 lakh consumers for just Rs 500. Along with the selected families in the central government’s Ujjwala scheme, BPL category families are eligible for this.
Beneficiary camps have been organized for those who take advantage of various schemes of the state government. Of these, 48.63 lakh families have been registered so far.
Amount will come in the bank account: According to the information, after registration in the Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme, a provision has been made to transfer funds to the beneficiaries account twice a month on the basis of transaction data received from the gas companies.
