It has been said that if any irregularity is found in the Swasthya Sathi card ten times in a year in a private hospital, nursing home, the card will be ‘blocked’. According to the Health Department, this time the software has been changed to block the card.
Action will be taken against private hospitals and doctors
It has also been said in the notification that if any doctor is involved in this irregularity, then he will not be able to treat any other card holder patient in future. According to the Health Department, many private nursing homes and hospitals are doing fraud by keeping this card in front. This is being done by making fake bills. All such complaints have been received by the Health Department, people who really need medical treatment are being returned without treatment.
200 government doctors will be trained
Meanwhile, district-wise vigilance teams have been instructed to be more active. At the same time, the Health Department has developed a new software. If caught doing wrong, the concerned private hospital or nursing home will have to face severe punishment. To prevent this, 200 government doctors have been trained. So that, they can catch the irregularities of private hospitals and nursing homes. Even ‘SOP’ has also been published by the health treatment department. Taking this, the officials of the Health Department will be given virtual training on August 18.
Legal action against private hospital or nursing home
According to the notification, legal action will be taken against such private hospital or nursing home if the wrong account is submitted to the health department by tampering with the treatment cost. Those who do this may also have to go to jail. And in some cases fine will also be imposed.
