Government offices paid only Rs 6 crore out of Rs 80 crore

Along with the target of uninterrupted power supply in summer, the target of recovery of Rs 120 crore revenue in April.

All seven electricity divisions of Kolhan (Jamshedpur, Mango, Ghatshila, Adityapur, Seraikela, Chakradharpur and Chaibasa), including the non-company areas of the city, collected Rs 113.93 crore from March 1-31 last month, out of which government departments deposited Rs 6 crore in electricity bills. . However, electricity bills of Rs 80 crore were outstanding on government departments. In this, the remaining dues of Rs 72 crore of the electricity department will be paid directly from the department to the electricity department at the government level within the next two months.

Here, Electricity GM Shravan Kumar said that clear instructions have been given to all the electrical executive engineers to meet the target of uninterrupted power supply from the current month of April till the summer season. He said that repair of wires, transformers and other equipment etc. has been completed. Apart from this, the stock of repaired transformer TRW and new transformer is available in the stores, hence there will be no problem in this summer season. He said that a monthly revenue target of Rs 120 crore has been set for the month of April. The team has been given instructions to complete this.
