Gorakhpur: The ongoing shortage of teachers in Madan Mohan Malviya Technological University will soon be fulfilled. The long standing hurdle of recruitment of teachers on 110 seats in the university has been resolved. In the same management board meeting, it was decided that The recruitment advertisement issued in the year 2021 will be canceled and will be issued again. In this, recruitment will be done on the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. The date of online application has been fixed in the meeting of the Board of Management. Two years ago, an advertisement was issued for the recruitment of teachers on 96 posts in the university. First due to Covid and later due to preparation of reservation roster afresh on the instructions of the government, the recruitment process could not progress. Meanwhile, many teachers retired and some joined other institutions. The date for online application for recruitment of teachers has been fixed in the management board meeting. Whereas the seats of self finance courses have been increased from 270 to 360. There are 855 seats fixed in the regular course in which no amendment has been made. In the meeting of the Management Board, the University Administration placed a total of 31 agendas along with 12 before the Vidya Parishad. All have got the green signal. In this regard, Vice Chancellor of Madan Mohan Malviya Technological University, Professor Jai Prakash Saini said that 110 teachers will be appointed to the posts in the university. After getting permission for the appointment of the Board of Management, a fresh advertisement will be issued. The old advertisement in the Board of Management has been cancelled.

There has been no recruitment of teachers in Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology in the last 7 years, due to which its impact on education is visible. There is a huge shortage of teachers in the university. Only 67 teachers are posted against 177 posts in the university. Regular and Cell Dependence on temporary teachers had increased for teaching finance courses. To overcome the shortage of teachers, 57 appointments will be made on the post of Assistant Professor, 31 on the post of Associate Professor and 22 on the post of Professor.
