Gorakhpur: A strange case has come to light in Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh. An auto driver from Gorakhpur district came up with such an idea that he put the entire administration to work. This person wrote a letter to the Commissioner that a voice came from my soul that I should get Bharat Ratna. After this, everyone from Tehsildar to Commissioner had to prepare a report and send a letter to Rashtrapati Bhavan. Vinod Gaur told that one day while worshiping, he heard a voice from the soul that he should get Bharat Ratna. After this he wrote a letter to the Commissioner to get Bharat Ratna. This letter of Vinod Gaur reached Rashtrapati Bhavan. At present the officials are reluctant to say anything in this matter. But off camera he told that Vinod Gaur’s letter had come by post. Therefore, we sent it for investigation but when we talked to the person who expressed his desire to receive the Bharat Ratna award, he said that we had given the letter hand to hand to the Commissioner. Vinod Gaur told that the Commissioner told him that you go, your letter will be forwarded. Vinod told that it was our work which I have done. Whether to get Bharat Ratna or not is in the hands of God. Vinod said that from Rashtrapati Bhavan. Earlier he had received many calls and was told that you are not worthy of it, you have no qualifications, hence you should not demand Bharat Ratna award again. Vinod is a resident of Maharaja North Tola Kusmahi Bazaar of Price police station area of Gorakhpur district.
Thought came during penance before evening bandhan
In the letter given to the Commissioner, he has written that on 30.09.23, before Sandhya Bandhan, while sitting in meditation and doing penance, suddenly from my inner soul I said ‘I want Bharat Ratna, I want Bharat Ratna, I want Bharat Ratna’ thrice. The voice came, this voice came very fast. Therefore, it is a request to your Excellency that all my wishes should be fulfilled and I should be honored with Bharat Ratna. Vinod Gaur gave this letter to the Commissioner. The letter from the Commissioner’s office reached the District Magistrate’s office, from there it reached the SDM Sadar via the Chief Development Officer’s office. Finally, the letter reached the Tehsildar and from there the letter was sent to Rashtrapati Bhavan.

When the officials investigated the whole matter, it completely shocked the officials. The officials believe that this is not right at any level and strict action can also be taken against it. But when an attempt was made to talk to the Commissioner, DM and CDO in this matter, they refused to say anything in front of the camera. Vinod Gaur is a PCC auto driver who lives under Pipraich police station, he also has two small children and currently drives an auto while living in a rented house under Cantt police station of Gorakhpur. The letter written by Vinod Gaur is currently going viral on social media.
