Cold is gradually increasing in Gorakhpur. But children of council schools are going to school without sweaters. Whereas the government has given Rs 1200 for children’s uniform, sweater and shoes and socks. But the parents have not bought the sweater yet. Some parents have shirked their responsibilities by just buying dresses for their children. Whereas some did not buy the sweater saying that if all the money has been spent on the dress itself then where to buy the sweater. The government has sent money for uniforms, sweaters and shoes and socks to the accounts of 90% of the parents in the district. In Gorakhpur district, Rs 1200 per student was to be sent to the parents’ account for uniform, sweater, shoes, socks and school bag for 3.50 lakh children. cold weather has started

In this case, the teachers say that the money has been sent to the accounts of the children’s parents through DBT. But many parents have not yet bought children’s sweaters. So what can we do in this? Some teachers even say that parents are being contacted. They are being encouraged to buy sweaters. Please note that currently the school is opening at 9:00 am. During that time it has also started getting cold. At present, we are fortunate but if the cold increases, the children will face a lot of trouble.

At the same time, Sangeeta Bhaskar, Principal of Primary School, Bystroli Bharohiya, said that we have 207 children enrolled here. Of these, parents of 35 to 40 percent children have bought uniforms and no one has bought sweaters yet. Parents are being motivated to buy sweaters. In this matter, Basic Education Officer Gorakhpur Ravindra Kumar Singh said that out of 3.30 lakh children studying in 2.5 thousand schools of the district, the amount for uniforms and sweaters has been sent to the accounts of about 90% of the parents. Even after getting the money, teachers have been asked to motivate parents to buy sweaters soon. The department is trying its best to ensure that parents buy sweaters as soon as possible to protect their children from the cold.
