Gorakhpur: This is a relief news for those visiting home on Diwali and Chhath festival. Keeping in view the convenience of the passengers, the Transport Corporation has announced to run 200 additional buses from Gorakhpur region. These buses will run on Delhi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj and Banaras routes. This will provide a lot of convenience to the people coming home on Diwali and Chhath festival. On Diwali and Chhath festival, lakhs of people come to their homes to celebrate the festival. Many people of Purvanchal, Bihar live and work in Lucknow, Mumbai, Delhi and many states. Running of 200 additional buses will make their journey easier. These buses will run from various stations including Gorakhpur to Delhi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj and Varanasi Road. Apart from this, the frequency of local buses will also be increased on routes including Deoria, Padrauna, Tamkuhi, Sonali and Maharajganj. So that people coming from outside can reach their homes on time and can also return. In the additional buses being run, additional staff will be deployed to deboard and board the passengers at the designated stations. Who will cooperate with the drivers and conductors. Drivers and conductors of buses will not be able to behave arbitrarily with the passengers.

The government had increased the fare of Rajdhani Express bus service by 10% more than the normal. Due to which passengers were not able to get passengers in Rajdhani buses on other routes including Lucknow, Delhi. In this matter, Regional Manager PK Tiwari said that in view of the rush of passengers on Diwali and Chhath festival, a plan has been made to run 200 additional buses. . Instructions have been given to the concerned authorities to repair the buses. The government has also made the fare of Rajdhani bus equal to that of ordinary bus. Due to which now passengers will be able to travel in Rajdhani bus by paying the fare equal to ordinary bus.
