Gorakhpur: Following the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the proposed world class convention center on the banks of Ramgarhtal will be built on PPP model i.e. public private partnership. GDA has started the process of building a world-class convention center. It will be built on the land of Champa Devi Park and Water Park. Earlier, there was a plan to take this project forward on the basis of land monetization and on the basis of bids, which will be awarded for the development of the convention center. He would be given the responsibility of land. There was a plan to give freehold to the land developer. But in the re-published RFP, the land will be given on lease. A new series of Request for Proposal (RFP) will be published. Tender will be invited till 2:00 pm on 26th December. Pre-bid meeting will be held on 12th December. Under this project, world class convention centre, five star hotel, elite club, UP Hot and spiritual library will be constructed in 24.65 acres. He will be the owner of the farm and will be responsible for its construction and operation. Convention Centre, Spiritual Library, Elite Club, UP Heart will be compulsorily constructed on 18.11 acres of land. This land will be given on lease for 33 years. After the completion of the deadline, it will be bid again. The old firm will be offered to proceed with the operation at the rate given by the highest bidding firm. Only after his refusal will the new firm get the rights.
This will be the capacity of the convention center
In this matter, Chief Engineer in-charge Kishan Singh said that similarly 6.54 acres of land will be given on lease for 99 years. A five star hotel will be constructed here. The firm running this scheme will first give a minimum of Rs 51 crore to GDA. This amount may increase as per the bid. After construction, Rs 12 crore will have to be paid every year for 10 years. The total construction in this scheme will be on more than 8 lakh square meters. In this, the convention center will be on 37000 square meters i.e. 3 lakh 98 thousand 120 square meters. There will be seating arrangement for 5000 people here, its structure can be changed and can also be divided into different parts. Along with this, 8 meeting rooms will be made. Each will be able to seat 120 people. There will be four meeting halls, each of which will be able to seat 100 people. The spiritual library of India will also be constructed along with it.
Hotel will be built in 1 lakh 78 thousand 616 square feet
Five star hotel will be constructed or the hotel will be built in 16600 square meters i.e. 1 lakh 78 thousand 616 square feet. There will be a total of 150 rooms in this hotel. Elite club will be constructed in 2450 square meters i.e. 26 thousand 362 square feet. Its capacity will be for 600 members. Members can be either annual or lifelong. It will also have a restaurant with a capacity of 150 people in 5 thousand 600 square feet. Meter i.e. 60 thousand 256 square feet, 40 shops will be constructed under Uttar Pradesh Cultural Heart.
