Diwali festival is coming, due to which firecracker shops will be set up inside the city. 670 firecracker shops will be set up at 13 places in the metropolis from 10 to 12 November. So far 50 people have received NOC. The new shopkeeper will not get NOC from the administration and fire department. Maximum 150 shops will be set up in Champa Devi Park of Gorakhpur metropolis. On the second place, space has been given for 72 shops in the Town Hall. In this case, Shantanu Yadav, in-charge of the fire department, said that NOC will not be given to any new shopkeeper. Only 670 shopkeepers who had previously set up shop will be given temporary license to sell firecrackers at 13 identified places from November 10 to 12.
Shopkeepers will have to follow this rule
There will be a distance of 9 square meters between the shops set up at the places identified by the administration. The shops built at the identified places will be in tin sheds. No clothes or tents of any kind are to be placed at the shops. It will be mandatory to keep 200 liters of water, 100 feet of sand and fire system between two shops. Fire personnel along with 18 small and big vehicles have been deployed at the identified shop location. Shopkeepers deployed at identified locations will not test firecrackers.

Champa Devi Park, Town Hall Ground, Government Polytechnic Asuran, DB Inter College Campus, Neena Thapa Inter College Khorabar, Government Bridge Housing Complex Bargadwa, Janta Inter College Campus Chargaon, Lakshmi Shankar Khare Park Surajkund, Dayanand Inter College Campus, DAV Inter College Campus , Government Jubilee Inter College Complex, St. Andrews Inter College, Shastri Chowk, Princes Lawn, Padri Bazaar.
