CM Yogi said that to encourage the players, the state government is giving them government jobs along with ample funds. Many coaches have been appointed at a monthly honorarium of Rs 1.5 lakh. Help is also being given to the players from the Eklavya Sports Fund. He said that the players of the state who participate and win medals in the Olympics, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, World Championship are being given ample prize money, at the international level Medal winners are being appointed to gazetted posts. 500 players have been appointed in the state.
