Gorakhpur: The Municipal Corporation has imposed a fine of Rs 2 lakh each on the Air Force and Railways. Air Force and Railways have imposed a fine of up to Rs 2 lakh on many big institutions including Railways, Air Force, Gorakhpur Development Authority for throwing garbage in the city. If these institutions do not make an agreement with the Municipal Corporation to collect garbage in the coming days, then the Municipal Corporation plans to increase the amount of fine further in the future. NGT has also expressed its displeasure over throwing garbage from institutions here and there in the metropolis. Municipal Commissioner II Nirankar Singh said that the system is being affected due to throwing of garbage here and there in the metropolis. Talks are being held with Railways, Air Force, Gorakhpur Development Authority and other institutions. Give the garbage to the Municipal Corporation by paying the prescribed fee. The Municipal Corporation will get it disposed of, this will not increase the filth in the metropolis. Let us tell you that Railways, Gorakhpur Development Authority, Air Force and many other institutions collect garbage through agencies in their premises.
