UP: A case of negligence of the hospital staff has come to light in the 100 bed maternity wing of Gorakhpur Women’s Hospital. Due to which the lives of 50 pregnant women admitted in the hospital were put on the line. After which the Timardars started a ruckus and caught the staff and stopped them. Seeing the anger of the miscreants, Dr. Sadhna Pandey, the doctor posted in the emergency, along with other staff ran away from the spot. Reached the spot after being informed. The police somehow pacified the miscreants by convincing them. After which the treatment of pregnant women started.

On Thursday night around 11:30 pm, the hospital staff injected the pregnant women. After which he got high fever and started burning in the eyes. There are 71 pregnant women and seven pregnant women admitted in the maternity wing. He is about 50 now that he had injected. During this, the health of the pregnant women started deteriorating one after the other. After which the attendants present with the pregnant women created a stir.
The attendants caught hold of the nurse who was vaccinating and asked her for an ID card. After which she could not show the ID card. After this, the attendants locked the nurse in a room. Seeing the ruckus starting, other staff including the doctor on duty in emergency ran away. After the information, the police reached the spot and pacified the people by convincing them.

Dr. Sadhna Pandey told that the pregnant women were injected. After which he got a slight fever and started shivering. After which the treatment that was to be given to him has been given. At this time all the patients are fine. On the question of the doctor which injection was given. He told that there are two due doses of the night. Contains analgesics and antibiotics. That was the injection. Some patients had problems after getting this injection, some did not. The attendants of the obstetricians made so much hue and cry that she got scared. There was no problem with the injection.

After which we covered him with a blanket. Similar was the condition of many pregnant women present there. Because of which there was a stir in the hospital. CO Kotwali Jagat Narayan Kannaujia told that there was information about the health of the patients deteriorating due to the reaction due to the injection. After which the police reached the spot.
