Gorakhpur: CM Yogi celebrated Diwali with forest dwellers, gave ‘gift’ worth Rs 153 crore to forest dwellers

Gorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who reached Vantangian village Tikonia number three of Gorakhpur from Ayodhya to celebrate Diwali on Sunday, also gave a Diwali gift of development works worth Rs 153 crore to various gram panchayats of the district. After creating a new world record of Deepotsav in Ayodhya on Saturday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath celebrated Diwali among the forest dwellers on Sunday, keeping the tradition started by himself about one and a half decade ago unbroken. While distributing the happiness of Diwali among the people of Vantangiya community in Tikonia number three of Kusamhi forest, the Chief Minister also remembered the struggle done for the rights of Vantangiyas. He said that any struggle done in a positive spirit never goes in vain. The struggle for the Vantangiya community was fought in this spirit and today it is visible in a meaningful form. Providing all the facilities of governance and civil rights to the underprivileged is in true sense like Diwali and Ramrajya.

After reaching Vantangiya village, CM Yogi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of a total of 52 development projects worth Rs 153 crore to various gram panchayats of the district. Addressing the gathering present on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the poor in Vantangiya village will have permanent houses, drinking water. They are very happy to see the facilities, electricity, good schools and Anganwadi centres. He said that everyone must have seen the grand Deepotsav of Ayodhya yesterday. Just as Ayodhya is getting decorated, similarly the villages of Uttar Pradesh, Gorakhpur and Vantangiya are also getting decorated.

CM Yogi said that the efforts of the one who takes the deprived along with him bear fruit.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while wishing all the people a very happy Diwali, said that the holy festival of Diwali provides inspiration to move from darkness to light, from evil to good, from unrighteousness to religion, from negativity to positivity, from injustice to justice and from indolence to diligence. He said that there should be a passion for work. The feeling should be such that without harming anyone, whatever we get through our hard work and efforts should also be linked to the society. We should embrace every poor, deprived and destitute person. Efforts taken together bear fruit.

When Ram Lalla is seated, five lamps will be lit in every house.

CM Yogi said that everyone has seen the changing Uttar Pradesh and the country in the last few years. He said that six years ago, would anyone have thought that a temple of Lord Ram would be built in Ayodhya. It was a dream, but today with the construction of Ram temple, the date of Ram Lalla’s enthronement has also been fixed. It is going to give a feeling of pride not only to the whole of India but to all the followers of Sanatan Dharma in the world. The Chief Minister said that it is our responsibility. It is decided that when Ram Lalla will be seated in his grand temple in Ayodhya, then a week before that date, people should join in with Sankirtan of Ram’s name and Akhand Ramayana in their respective homes. Remembering the wait of 500 years for Lord Ram Lalla’s enthronement, light five lamps each in your respective homes. With this resolution, you should start making arrangements right now. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the moment of Ram Lalla’s enthronement will be wonderful. This will be an opportunity for the whole of India to tell the world that we have the power to claim our rights through peace and revolution. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement in Ayodhya is an example of this.

Double engine government working in the spirit of Ramrajya

CM Yogi also discussed the changes brought about in Gorakhpur in the last six years due to development works and the situation before that. He said that since independence, Gorakhpur has been continuously neglected from the point of view of development. Some people deliberately neglected this. But, today Gorakhpur has everything that Gorakhpur needs. The medical college itself, which was sick earlier, has become healthy and AIIMS is also providing services here. The sparkling roads, the grand Ramgarhtal are attracting everyone. Gorakhpur’s The zoo is creating a different attraction.

Now there is no fear, Vantangiya talks about rights

The Chief Minister said that the people of Vantangiya community used to be afraid earlier. They were afraid of eviction, fake FIR and arrest from the Forest Department. But, their fear ended under the double engine government. They have got their rights. Vantangiyas now talk about their rights instead of fear. Today Vantangiya people also have the facilities of permanent house, toilet, LPG connection, electricity connection, Ayushman card. The Chief Minister said that along with this, the neglected tribes like Musahar, Tharu, Cheru, Buxa, Kol etc. are also being covered with facilities like housing, electricity, kitchen, Ayushman. The neglected people should get the benefits of basic facilities and their rights. This is the real Diwali. Describing the significance of celebrating Diwali, the Chief Minister said that during his exile period, Lord Shri Ram provided security to the sages and sages and raised the forest dwellers and mountain dwellers against the negative forces. By uniting them, Aryavarta and Freed the world from the terror of Ravana.

Inauguration of Deepotsav by lighting lamps

After inspecting the stalls, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath set out on a tour of the village. He first reached the house of Ram Ganesh, the head of Vantangiya community. Inaugurated the festival of lights for the entire villagers by lighting the lamp amid the rangoli decorated outside the house. After this, while touring the village, he met the people and accepted their greetings and also interacted with them. He also joked with many children. During this, the Chief Minister met the children of Hindu Vidyapeeth located in the village and gave them sweets and other gifts.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath honored the beneficiaries of Ayushman Yojana, Agriculture Department schemes, Chief Minister Housing Scheme, Chief Minister Youth Self-Employment Scheme, National Rural Livelihood Mission from the stage by giving them certificates and gifts of sweets. During this, a female beneficiary of Ayushman Yojana reached the stage with her baby in her lap. The Chief Minister, who is famous for showering affection on children, took the innocent child in his lap and caressed him a lot and blessed him.

Politicians from 54 countries participated in Ayodhya Deepotsav

Recalling the grand festival of lights that was completed in Ayodhya on Saturday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that more than 22 lakh lamps have created a new world record by lighting up the lamps. Ambassadors and politicians of 54 countries have contributed in providing global recognition to the entire program by participating in the Deepotsav.
