Gorakhpur News: in Uttar Pradesh gorakhpur-A major road accident took place near Jagdishpur on Kushinagar highway late on Thursday night. In this, six passengers died while 27 people were injured when a speeding truck rammed into a parked bus from behind. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital and medical college in five ambulances. The condition of some of these people is said to be very serious. On receiving information about the road accident, SP City and other officials reached the spot. After this the injured were sent to the hospital. The officials also alerted the doctors of Sadar Hospital and Medical College, after which the doctors also reached and treatment was started immediately. According to the police, efforts are being made to identify all the deceased passengers. Some of these have been identified.
Accident happened near Jagdishpur
It is being told that a contracted bus from Gorakhpur was going to Padrauna in Kushinagar district with passengers. On the way, the wheel of the bus got punctured near Mallapur in Jagdishpur. After this the driver parked the bus on the roadside and called for another bus tyre. During this time, an empty bus arrived from Gorakhpur and the driver and conductor were boarding the passengers. Some passengers had sat in the bus, while some were standing between the two buses. Meanwhile, suddenly a speeding truck hit the bus from behind.
The condition of many people admitted to the hospital is critical.
The collision was so severe that three passengers died on the spot. The wheel ran over them, while more than twenty-four people were injured. The condition of 12 people is said to be very serious. As soon as information about the accident was received, police and administration officials reached the spot and ambulances were called. Along with this, after the accident, the officers alerted the doctors of Sadar and Medical College, so that the treatment of the injured could be started immediately as soon as they arrived. The injured were taken to Sadar and Medical College in five ambulances that reached the accident site. Three other people died in the hospital. It is being told that more than 30 people were traveling in the bus. Treatment of the injured is continuing.
Three Kushinagar residents among the six dead
According to the police, at present three of the six dead are said to be residents of Kushinagar. They have been identified as 25 year old Nitish Singh son of Ashok Singh, resident of Hata Kotwali Madarha of Kushinagar, 35 year old Suresh Chauhan son of Jawahir Chauhan, resident of police station Turkpatti Rudaulia, 24 year old Himanshu Yadav son of Banarasi Yadav and Shailesh Patel, resident of Padrauna Misripatti.
