Good News: Permission granted for night landing at Deoghar Airport, now aircraft will be able to fly 24 hours in all weather conditions.

Deoghar Airport: Deoghar- There is good news not only for Deoghar and Santal Pargana of Jharkhand but also for the surrounding areas. The problems that passengers traveling from Deoghar Airport were facing due to bad weather during flights and night landing have now gone away. On April 1, 2024, DGCA (Director General of Civil Aviation) has given permission for night landing at Deoghar Airport. While giving approval for night landing at Deoghar Airport, DGCA has said that now planes will be able to take off and land from Deoghar 24 hours in every season. This will get rid of the problem of flight cancellation.

Permission given after removing all the obstacles for night landing
There were many obstacles regarding night landing at Deoghar Airport, many tall buildings which were coming in the way were removed. Apart from this, all the equipment related to night landing, visibility, weather etc. which were to be installed, have already been installed at the airport. DGCA has given approval after the hurdles were removed and all the facilities were restored at Deoghar Airport. DGCA has also allotted slot for this. With the restoration of this facility, A-321 type and its equivalent aircraft are now ready to land and take off.

Air passengers will get benefit
MP Dr Nishikant Dubey said that since the inception of Deoghar Airport, passengers were facing problems due to cancellation of flights during bad weather. Due to lack of night landing facility, night flight service could not be started. After the approval of DGCA, Deoghar Airport now has the facility to operate aircraft 24 hours a day in all weather conditions. Now new companies will come, flights from Deoghar Airport will increase. If other aircraft companies come, the fares will also be cheaper. Apart from Delhi, Kolkata, Patna, Ranchi, the way has now been cleared to start flights to other big cities also. This will benefit not only Deoghar but also the air passengers of Santal Pargana and surrounding areas.
