Good governance did not come suddenly in UP, many big reforms had to be done – Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath virtually addressed the ‘Good Governance Day 2024’ program organized in New Delhi on Saturday. CM said that good governance has not been established in the state suddenly, but for this, reforms were done on a large scale. Earlier governments worked to divide and cheat the society on the basis of caste, creed, region and language, but today the poor have been made self-reliant through various schemes. The state had potential earlier too, but the then governments did not utilize it well.

The CM congratulated the organizers for the two-day ‘Good Governance Festival 2024’ organized by Ram Bhau Mhalgi Prabodhini at Dr. Ambedkar International Center in New Delhi. He said that the Good Governance Festival 2024 presents the Prime Minister’s vision of a developed India in front of all of us. In the last 10 years, the whole world is seeing the new India. India today has the ability to lead the world in even and odd situations. A better security environment has been created inside the country. While corruption has been effectively curbed through JAM Trinity (Jan Dhan, Aadhaar and Mobile), the work of delivering government schemes and services to the last person has been done through DBT.
