Golden Globe Awards 2024: Oppenheimer-Barbie dominated, Robert Downey got this award, where can you watch it

Golden Globes 2024: The 81st Golden Globes has started this year’s Hollywood awards season. Early winners included Best Supporting Actor (Film) for Robert Downey Jr. (Oppenheimer) and Best Supporting Actress (Film) for D’Awynne Joy Randolph (The Holdovers). The RDJ category included Ryan Gosling, who played Ken in Barbie. The answer to which Succession character will win in the Best TV Actor (Drama) category is – Roman Roy, played by Kieran Culkin. Co-star Matthew Macfadyen won Best Supporting Actor (TV).

Who got which award?

Beef won two awards in the Limited Series, Anthology and TV Movie categories. Ali Wong and Steven Yeun have won awards for Best Actor and Actress. Jeremy Alan White won Best TV Actor (Musical/Comedy) for ‘The Bear’ for the second year in a row. Co-star Ayo Edebiri won Best TV Actress (Musical/Comedy).

Barbenheimer’s dominance continues

Barbenheimer’s impact was clearly visible at the Golden Globes, where Barbie received 9 nominations. Whereas Oppenheimer received 8 nominations. Killers of the Flower Moon and Poor Things each received seven awards. Succession leads the list of TV nominations with nine, followed by The Bear and Only Murders in the Building with five nominations each.
