Gogamedi Murder Case: A member of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi’s family will get a government job, security

Meanwhile, news is coming that Gogamedi’s family members will be given security. Besides, one member of his family will also be given a government job.

Gogamedi’s killers still absconding, SIT formed to investigate the murder

Police on Wednesday formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the murder of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena President Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. According to the police, the attackers have been identified and an operation is being conducted to arrest them. A reward of Rs 5 lakh each has been announced for anyone providing information about the attackers. Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said that the two attackers who shot dead Gogamedi and Naveen Singh Shekhawat at the house of Rajput leader on Tuesday, have been identified and they are being searched. It is being said that Naveen Singh Shekhawat had gone to the Rajput leader’s house with the attackers. He said, one accused is from Haryana and the other is from Rajasthan.

Protest against the massacre

Demonstrations were held at many places in the state against the Gogamedi massacre. The protesters ‘blocked’ the highway at many places and also stopped trains. People of Rajput community demonstrated in many cities including Jaipur. Gogamedi supporters announced Jaipur bandh in protest against the murder. Due to this, all the markets remained closed and there was less movement of vehicles on the roads. Precautionary holiday was declared in many schools in the capital Jaipur.

After this massacre, Governor Kalraj Mishra spoke to Union Home Minister Amit Shah on phone regarding the situation in the state. Earlier on Wednesday, Governor Mishra held a meeting with top officials of the police administration and directed to take strict action against the criminals.

Gangster associated with Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility of murder

A police officer said that gangster Rohit Godara, associated with Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has taken responsibility for the murder by posting on social media. Gogamedi’s supporters have demanded a compensation of Rs 11 crore for the Rajput leader’s family.

Gogamedi was shot dead in his house on Tuesday

It is noteworthy that Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was shot dead in his house in Shyamnagar here on Tuesday. Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said, three people went to Gogamedi’s residence and told his security personnel that they wanted to meet Gogamedi. The security personnel took him inside where he talked to Gogamedi for ten minutes. After this, they opened fire on them. Joseph said that after this incident, two attackers came out of the house and snatched the scooter from a person and ran away. The entire incident was recorded on CCTV.
