Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was murdered at his house on Tuesday. Two days have passed since then, but the killers have not been arrested yet. However, according to the police, the attackers have been identified and an operation is being conducted to arrest them. A reward of Rs 5 lakh each has been announced for anyone providing information about the attackers. Rajasthan Director General of Police (DGP) Umesh Mishra has constituted a SIT under the supervision of Additional Director General of Police (ADG-Crime) Dinesh MN to thoroughly investigate the Gogamedi murder case. Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said that one accused is from Haryana and the other is from Rajasthan.
Gangster Rohit Godara took responsibility for the murder
In a Facebook post, gangster Rohit Godara claimed responsibility for the murder and said Gogamedi was killed for supporting his enemies. Godara is said to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
