Khushboo Kumari, 20, wife of Pintu Yadav of Chichohari village of Mahagama police station area, died under suspicious circumstances. The police found the woman’s body hanging from a bamboo with the help of a dupatta in the verandah of the house. It is said that there was no one in the house at the time of the incident. All the family members had gone to Bahiyar to harvest paddy. As soon as the family members reached home from Bahiyar after receiving information about the incident, they found the dead body of the married woman hanging from a dupatta with the help of bamboo in the verandah of the house. After this the family informed the Mahagama police about the incident. Police station in-charge Arun Kumar reached the spot with his team and took possession of the dead body of the married woman and sent it to Godda for post-mortem. It is said that this was the second marriage of the deceased. The first marriage took place in Bandanwar village of Pathargama police station area, where after about two years of marriage, the husband and wife separated with mutual consent. Later, the deceased girl had married Pintu, a young man from her Chichohari village, four months ago. The girl also has a daughter in her first marriage. Family dispute is also said to be the reason for the incident. Various types of discussions are taking place regarding the incident. Police station in-charge Arun Kumar said that on the application of the deceased girl’s father regarding the incident, an FIR has been registered in the police station regarding harassment of the deceased’s husband and in-laws. The police have started conducting raids to arrest the absconding accused.
