Godda: 50 year old middle-aged woman murdered, dead body found in Matiyani river after eight days

A 50-year-old middle-aged woman of Amwar Neem Tola under Podaiyahat police station area was murdered and her body was buried in the river. Police received information about the dead body on Monday. The body has completely decomposed due to being buried for eight days. According to the information received from the police regarding the incident, the said woman had gone missing from her house just before Diwali. But this information was not given to the police by the family members. Police received information on Sunday evening that the woman was missing from home. After this the police started investigating the case. During the investigation, the body of the deceased woman was found in the Matiyani river. After getting information about the incident, SDPO JPN Chaudhary, police station in-charge Tarachand and police officers reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Police station in-charge Tarachand said that the deceased’s son Suraj Marandi has given a written application in the police station expressing the suspicion of murder. The station in-charge said that the matter will be resolved within 24 hours. Police is engaged in investigation. But the question is, where did the family members sleep for eight days? If the woman had gone missing, why was the police not informed about it?

Dead body of 40 year old unidentified woman recovered in Lalmatiya

On Sunday morning, the police recovered the body of a 40-year-old unidentified woman from near the forest of Kusma village under Lalmatia police station. In the morning the villagers saw the dead body of an unknown woman while going to the toilet. After that there was a commotion in the entire area. The villagers informed the police about this. Police inspector Baburam Bhagat, station in-charge Pradeep Kumar Das, SI Jitendra Verma reached the spot with the team and started investigation. The nearby villagers were also interrogated by the police to identify the dead body, but it could not be identified. Police station in-charge Pradeep Kumar Das said that along with a purse and some clothes, a mobile charger was also recovered from the dead body. The police station in-charge said that prima facie it appears that the body was brought from far away and thrown near the forest. However, the police is investigating. Police have taken the dead body into their custody and sent it to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and there is no injury mark on the dead body. Detailed information can be given only after the post mortem report comes. The police is trying to identify the dead body soon, so that it will be easier to prosecute the case.
