Goa Police arrested Suchana Seth from Chitradurga in Karnataka on Sunday night. Why did Soochna Seth kill his son?

Suchana, a resident of West Bengal, got married in 2010. Her husband is from Kerala. Both of them had a son in 2019, but after a dispute in 2020, they both got divorced. But the court ordered that the father can meet his child every Sunday. Suchana did not like this. She wanted to somehow keep the child away from her husband. He found a solution to this, but no one had any idea that the path of information would be like this. In the name of outing, Suchana brought her son to Goa and then allegedly murdered him in the hotel.

A woman named Soochna Seth is accused of allegedly killing her four-year-old son in Goa and then took the body to the neighboring state of Karnataka. Inspector Paresh Naik of Calangute police station said, the accused woman had reached a rented flat in Candolim in North Goa with her son on January 6. After staying there for two days, he told the flat staff that he had to go to Bengaluru for some work. He also asked them to arrange a taxi. The staff told the woman that she could take a flight to Bengaluru as going by taxi would be expensive. The accused insisted that she would go by taxi only. After arranging a taxi on January 8, she left for Bengaluru early in the morning.

The sanitation worker informed the police about the murder.

When the staff went to clean the room where she was staying, they found blood stains on the towel. Calangute police was immediately informed about this and a team reached the spot. The employee said that when the woman left the flat, her four-year-old son was not seen with her and she was also carrying an unexpectedly heavy bag.

Police searched the woman’s bag and found the child’s body in it.

When the police interrogated Suchana Seth, he first tried to mislead the police. The blood stains, she said, were due to her menstruation. The woman told the police that her son was with his friend in Margao city (in South Goa). He also gave his address. The police immediately took the help of Fatorda police (near Margao) but found out that the address given by them was fake. When the police searched the woman’s bag in Chitradurga, they found the body of the child in it.
