Girls Hostel On Wednesday night, some miscreants entered the premises of the residential Extremely Backward Class Plus Two High School located in Vinobanagar locality on Ghutia Road, behind Magadh Medical Hospital in Gaya city of Bihar and started doing obscene acts with the girl students present there.
During this time miscreants tried to do something wrong with the minor girl students. During this, the girl students protested strongly and made noise. Due to protest by all the girl students together, the morale of the miscreants broke and to save their lives, the miscreants ran away from there with the help of the neighbour’s roof. DM Dr. Thiagarajan came to know about the incident on Thursday morning. The DM took this incident seriously and formed a special team under the leadership of ADM Law and Order Shashi Shekhar to investigate.
Sadar SDO Kislay Srivastava, Town DSP Dharmendra Bharti, Magadh Medical Police Station Head Shailesh Kumar and District Welfare Officer were included in this team. The officers included in the team formed regarding the case of misbehavior with girl students, reached the residential Extremely Backward Class Plus Two High School located in Vinoba Nagar locality at 10 o’clock and investigated the matter. During this, the investigation team found that Ashok Kumar, the principal of the residential extremely backward class plus two high school, was on leave. Principal in-charge Poonam Kumari and other teachers present at the spot were interrogated. The girl students were also interrogated on many points.
The team that reached there for investigation scanned the CCTV footage installed there and took its complete record in the pen drive. Also roamed around the school and took stock of the security arrangements there. However, the footage and statements of the girl students convinced the investigation team that the incident had taken place in the hostel on Wednesday night. But due to the high spirits of the brave girls, the miscreants could not succeed in their plans. The investigation team has also taken this incident seriously and the senior officers present at the spot have instructed Magadh Medical Police Station Head Shailesh Kumar and other police officials to keep a 24-hour vigil.
Instructions have been given to increase police patrolling in this area, especially during night time. DM Dr. Thiagarajan said that the issue of miscreants entering the girl students’ hostel with wrong intentions has been taken seriously. Under the leadership of ADM Law and Order Shashi Shekhar, Sadar SDO, DSP and District Welfare Officer have been sent there. A complete report has been sought on every point. Concrete action will be taken in this matter, so that such incidents do not happen again in future. Also, every kind of decision will be taken regarding the safety of girl students. In any case, the girl students will study in the hostel with complete security and peace.
