In Meerut, a girl’s lover, angry at her marriage being fixed at another place, threatened her with dire consequences. Also demanded Rs 14 lakh. If the money was not given, the girl was threatened to be taken away from the wedding hall, due to which the upset victim complained to the SSP. Taking cognizance of the complaint, the SSP had ordered action. On the orders of the SSP, the police remained alert outside the pavilion during the girl’s wedding on Friday evening. The girl was married under police supervision. In fact, the girl, a resident of Rohta Road in Kankarkheda police station area, had given a complaint letter to the SSP and told that during her job, she had become friends with a young man from Bahsuma. During this time both of them came closer. A few days ago, the girl’s family had fixed her marriage somewhere else. After knowing about the marriage, the accused started harassing her. Three days ago, the accused even called her brother and threatened her with dire consequences and said that he would take her away from the wedding hall. The accused had demanded Rs 14 lakh.

After getting information about the matter, SSP ordered Kankarkheda police to investigate and take action. The threatening audio of the young man had gone viral on social media. The girl’s wedding was held on Friday in a pavilion located on Rohta Road. During this time, Kankarkheda police remained present outside and inside the pavilion. For security reasons, surveillance was done through drone cameras. The police also interrogated the youths who looked suspicious and allowed them inside after checking. Kankarkheda police station in-charge Devesh Kumar Singh said that police force remained deployed during the wedding.

Girl and her family members beaten up in protest against molestation, two accused arrested

Protesting against molestation in Kankarkheda police station area proved costly for the girl and her family. On Friday, the accused along with their family members beat up the victim’s family severely. The video of women being assaulted quickly went viral on social media. Based on the complaint of the victim, the police registered a case against the accused. In fact, a girl resident of Khadauli village of Kankarkheda police station area told the police that she lives at home with her children. The victim’s husband works in a clothing factory in Chennai. Two young men living in his neighborhood had been molesting his daughter for a long time. Regarding this, in the past also the victim woman had complained to the family members of the accused. Despite this the accused were not desisting from their actions.

Two days ago his daughter was going to the shop to buy goods. Meanwhile, both the accused made obscene comments on his daughter. Which the girl opposed. The accused had molested the girl. It is alleged that on Friday morning both the accused were strolling outside his house. The accused started making comments as soon as they saw the girl. After this the victim’s family also came out of the house. A heated argument broke out between both the parties. Both the accused kicked and punched the women. A crowd of people gathered at the spot. Someone captured the video of the fight in his mobile. Within no time the video spread rapidly on social media. The attackers ran away from the spot while issuing threats. On receiving information, police reached the spot and investigated the matter. On the basis of the video, the police have arrested the accused Rahisuddin and Imran. Police station in-charge Devesh Kumar Singh says that after registering a case, both the accused have been sent to jail.
