Giridih, Mrinal Sinha : Today, a large number of girl students reached RK Mahila College in protest against the closure of Inter studies in RK Mahila College of Giridih district and locked the main gate of the college and shouted slogans while sitting in the middle of the road.
The main demand of the girl students was that the decision to stop intermediate studies in RK Women’s College should be withdrawn and intermediate studies should be continued in the college. During this, all the girl students shouted slogans against the college administration and the government.
The girl students told that on one hand the government talks about Beti Padhao Beti Bachao, while on the other hand it is trying to play with the future of the girl students by stopping their studies.
Here, after the lockout, Dr. Madhu Sen Sanyal, Principal of RK Women’s College, called the girl students for talks and talked.
On the other hand, the girl students said that if their demands are not met, then they will launch further agitations.
