The incident of gang rape of a student in the IIT BHU campus in Varanasi has not been revealed yet. The atmosphere regarding this was getting heated when on Tuesday, a B.Com student was molested in a bus running on the BHU campus. The student has accused the bus driver of the Chief Proctor’s office of molestation. Angered by the incident, the victim and some other students reached the Chief Proctor’s office and expressed their anger. Chief Proctor Prof. Shivprakash has removed the accused bus driver from his job until the matter is investigated. Also, a two-member committee has been formed for investigation. The committee will give its report soon. Actually, for the convenience of students in BHU campus, buses are run from the Chief Proctor’s office. Students of the faculty go to the Vishwanath Temple and the main gate of the campus by bus. The drivers of all the buses are security personnel of BHU. According to the information, on Tuesday afternoon, the B.Com student left the Commerce Faculty and was going to the main gate by boarding a bus. Meanwhile, the bus driver (security guard) molested the student. This made the student upset and she got off the bus and ran away. The student informed some classmates about the incident, then reached the Chief Proctor’s office at around 5.30 pm and expressed her displeasure.
The victim is in panic
As soon as information about the case was received, two women proctors included in the Proctorial Board were called for counselling. Both the female proctors talked to the student in a room of the Chief Proctor’s office and took information about the incident. According to sources, the student was shocked while giving information about the incident. The student told that she has been commuting to the campus by bus many times but such an incident has never happened. She got scared when the driver (security guard) molested her while getting off the bus. At that time all the students sitting in the bus had got down and left. During this, the female proctor has assured the student of concrete action in the matter. The Commerce Faculty student who was molested is terrified.

Chief Proctor Prof. molestation of a student in BHU campus. Shivprakash Singh has taken it seriously. He told that Prof. Lalita Vatta and Prof. Gayatri Rai will investigate the matter. Both the members will interrogate the student who complained about the case and the accused security personnel and give their report. Further action will be taken on this basis. BHU Chief Proctor further said that this incident did not happen on the BHU campus. There was an incident outside the campus two days ago on Saturday. The information received from conversations with different people is being said to be outside. It was revealed that the security guard driving the bus had done something wrong with a B.Com student. The girl student ran into the campus for safety. However, the student also lives in a paying guest house outside the campus. If the student wishes, her written complaint will be sent to the police for prosecution.
