In the massive fire that broke out in ward number five of Rustampur village of Rustampur police station area, a teenage girl got burnt to death, while the couple also got burnt. Five houses were burnt in this incident. Three cows died due to scorching, while two cows were badly burnt. The fire brigade reached the spot and controlled the fire with the help of local people. After receiving information about the incident, the veterinary officer did not reach the spot. The CO’s official mobile was continuously saying that it was switched off. According to the information, a sudden fire broke out in Devendra Rai’s house at around 12:15 pm on Tuesday due to an electrical short circuit. The flames spread with the strong gust of wind and engulfed five houses. Seeing the rapidly rising flames of fire, a crowd of people gathered. Rakesh Raj and Pintu Singh reached the spot and informed the police of Rustampur police station about the incident. As soon as information about this was received, three fire tenders from Rustampur and Raghopur police stations reached the spot. The fire brigade, with the help of local people, controlled the fire after hours of hard work, but by then all the things kept in the house including the houses of Devendra Rai, Dayanand Rai, Arvind Rai, Ajay Rai and Dharmendra Rai were burnt and destroyed. In this fire incident, Dayanand Rai’s 10-year-old daughter Alia got burnt to death, while three cows of Devendra Rai got burnt to death, while two cows got badly burnt in the fire. Devendra Rai and his wife Rajwanti Devi also got badly burnt in this fire incident. Everyone is undergoing treatment. After this incident, the fire victims are in bad condition and crying.
