Giridih bus accident: Out of control bus was running on scooter’s insurance paper, killed 4 people

According to the time specified in the route permit, the luxurious bus was to leave Ranchi at 5.05 pm and reach Hazaribagh at 7.20 pm and reach Giridih at 7.45 pm from Hazaribagh. According to the permit, the bus was to take 135 minutes to reach Giridih from Hazaribagh. Accordingly, this bus should have taken 119 minutes to cover a distance of 102 kilometers from Hazaribagh to Barakar bridge. Whereas this bus started from Hazaribagh at 7.45 and met with an accident at around 8.35. In this way, this bus took only 50 minutes to cover the distance of 102 kilometers, which means the average speed of the vehicle was more than 120 kilometers per hour. Rocky Sharma, director of the Sharma Line Hotel, which operates on the banks of the Barakar river, says that the speed of the bus was very high, due to which the accident happened. He told that a red colored Alto car was parked near the Barakar river bridge, which at the same time moved towards Giridih and to save it, the driver cut the bus on the right side, due to which the car became unbalanced and fell into the river.

The bus was being operated on the insurance paper of the scooter

The bus which met with an accident in Giridih’s Barakar river and in which four people lost their lives, does not have insurance. The RC number of the accident luxury bus (Baba Samrat) is JH-07H / 2906 and the owner’s name is Raju Khan registered in the RC. Whereas when the insurance paper was checked on this RC number, the policy number is 1130003123010240021524 and the vehicle model is Bajaj Spirit which is a scooter. This policy has been issued in the name of Pankaj Kumar and the registration authority Gumla is registered in it. Many people including social workers Shivnath Saav, Vikas Sinha said that this is a serious matter. The people killed and injured in the bus accident will not even get the insurance amount. Social activists say that operating the bus on the insurance paper of the scooter is a case of fraud. The administration should register an FIR in this matter. Here, bus operator Raju Khan told that the bus met with an accident while trying to save the bike rider. Bus driver Tinku Mandal was very hot-tempered. Didn’t do drugs. He is also injured in the accident. The driver is being treated at PMCH Dhanbad. Four-member committee constituted for investigation: DC

Here, Giridih’s DC Naman Priyesh Lakda has issued an order to investigate the accident as well as the documents of the vehicles. He has constituted a four-member inquiry committee, after whose inquiry report, if found guilty, action will be taken against the vehicle operator. DC said that the inquiry committee will submit its report soon. Told that SDO, SDPO, DTO and MVI have been included in the inquiry committee.

Bus fell in Barakar river near Peertand

Let us tell you that on Saturday night Baba Samrat bus coming from Ranchi to Giridih went out of control near Pirtand and fell down from the Barakar river bridge. Four people died in this accident, while 23 people were seriously injured.
