Ghazaibad News: In Fazalgarh village of Bhojpur in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh, the husband attacked the woman with a sword for delaying in making tea. In anger, the husband attacked his wife several times on her head and neck, resulting in her death. When they heard the noise and came to their rescue, the children were also attacked by the accused. Somehow he was caught with the help of neighbors. Ghaziabad Police has arrested the accused husband. A blood stained sword has also been recovered from the spot. ACP Gyan Prakash Rai said that the forensic team has collected evidence from the spot and conducted further investigation. A report has been registered on the complaint of the woman’s son. He told that during the arrest the hands of the accused were also stained with blood. A blood soaked sword has also been recovered from the spot.
The children were present in the lower part of the room
It is being told that Dharamveer Singh, resident of village Fazalgarh of Bhojpur police station area in Ghaziabad, got married to Sundari Devi (50), resident of Kaili, Hapur, about 25 years ago. Dharamveer used to do fruit business near Bhojpur police station. For some time he had worked as a vegetable seller in the village itself. According to family members, Dharamveer has five children. One daughter is married. Two daughters and two sons live together. On Tuesday morning, there were children in the lower part of the house, while the husband and wife were present upstairs.
There was a delay in making tea due to the wood being wet
Police interrogation revealed that Dharamveer asked his wife to make tea due to severe cold. There was a delay in making tea on the stove because the wood was wet. Because of this, an argument started between the husband and wife. Within a short time, the dispute escalated to such an extent that Dharamveer attacked his wife several times on her head and neck with a sword kept at home. The blood soaked woman raised an alarm to escape. On this the children came to the terrace, when they tried to defend themselves between the two, the father attacked them. It is being told that even after the wife got injured and fell down, the accused kept attacking her. Meanwhile, with the help of neighbors who arrived after hearing the noise, he was somehow caught. Police reached the spot on information from people.
The accused husband is a drug addict
According to local people, Dharamveer is originally a resident of Kalanjari village of Partapur police station area of Meerut district. He came and settled in village Fazalgarh about 27 years ago. He drank a lot and was mentally ill because of this. According to local people, Dharamveer often used to abuse someone or the other. Recently he had climbed to the top of the temple near his house. After many efforts he was brought down.
Children who came after hearing the noise were also attacked
Dharamveer’s son Soldier told that when he and his sister Lakshmi came to save their blood-soaked mother lying on the ground, the father also tried to attack them with a sword. Both of them somehow escaped and raised an alarm. On this people from nearby came. Seeing them coming towards him, the father jumped from the roof waving his sword and ran away. The people of the village had seen him going towards the fields. When the police reached there on their information, he was found hiding in the field. He was arrested. Soldier told that the father had threatened the mother three days ago that he would not leave her alive. But, no one took it seriously. He had taken away the old rusty sword kept in the house three days ago. Had brought it after sharpening it. According to the son, everyone thought that he was doing this to scare. His sinister intentions were not known.

Dharamveer told during police interrogation that he had gone to Sikri Mata temple on Monday. There he had sworn that he would kill his wife Sundari within 24 hours. He says that he had even sought forgiveness from God for the murder. Said that he would also repent for this. But the compulsion is such that murder is necessary. It is being told that after returning from the temple, he told Sundari, you have insulted me, the days of your life are over, this time even God will not be able to save you. He had brought a sickle along with the sword for the murder. He told that if the sword had betrayed him, he would have cut the throat with the sickle.
