Mahindra Thar 5-Door: There is an important news for those waiting for the arrival of Mahindra Thar 5-door and that is that now their wait is about to end. India’s leading domestic automobile manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has been working on this off-road SUV for the last two years. It is reported that it will be launched in the market on 15 August 2024. It is worth noting that Mahindra also launched Scorpio-N, Thar three-door and XUV700 three-door on the occasion of Independence Day. Mahindra has increased the wheelbase in the Thar 5-door, which has helped the company add a set of rear doors. This will help the rear passengers in entry and exit. Additionally, the door handles have been placed on the C-pillars to give the SUV a three-door look.

India’s domestic automobile manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has trademarked seven names for the 5 door Thar. It is likely that the company may launch it any time in March 2024. As far as its price is concerned, it is being estimated that Mahindra can launch it in the market at a price of Rs 15 lakh ex-showroom.

Mahindra Thar 5 Door can be equipped with the existing model’s 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine and 2.2-litre diesel engine. However, the engine in this vehicle can be tuned and offered. In this, 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox can be provided with the engine. Mahindra can launch its 5-door Thar with affordable 2-wheel-drivetrain.

Mahindra Thar 5 Door Features and Competition
Mahindra Thar 5 door SUV car can be given the same features as the 3-door version, in which auto climate control, rear AC vents and push start and stop buttons can be given. It is estimated that an 8-inch touchscreen system can also be provided in it. For the safety of the passengers, this off-road SUV car can be provided with features like ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat and dual front airbags. After its launch in the market, Maruti Suzuki will be focusing on Jimny and Force Gurkha.
