Garib Rath Coach: Patna. Railways is not only increasing the speed of trains, but is also converting traditional trains into new convenient coaches. In this connection, there is a matter of happiness for the passengers traveling by Garib Rath. Now in Garib Rath, one will get the pleasure of traveling like a premium train. Indian Railways has decided to make important changes in the rolling stock i.e. coaches of some Garib Rath Express. Now instead of traditional ICF coaches, LHB coaches made with German technology are being installed in these Garib Rath Express trains.
Appearance will change from April 10
This change is happening from April 10, 2024. The trains whose rakes will be changed in the first phase include Anand Vihar-Jayanagar Garib Rath Express passing through Arrah. Even after replacement of these coaches in Garib Rath, the fare will be charged at the old rates only. There will be no change in fares of any kind. Facilities will increase for the people. Now the fun of doing things at low fare will be doubled.
This facility will be available in 26 Garib Rath trains
Railways is going to start this facility in 26 Garib Rath trains across the country including East Central Railway. Hajipur Railway Zone CPRO Birendra Kumar said that at present three Garib Rath trains will be upgraded between April 10 and April 13. Garib Rath Express service was started to give the poor people of the country the experience of traveling with high speed like premium trains at less money. Garib Rath trains run on all important routes like Delhi-Mumbai, Delhi-Chennai, Patna-Kolkata. Passengers were facing a lot of problems in old coaches.

There will be no impact on fares
With the installation of new coaches in these Garib Rath Express, which connects Anand Vihar to four important cities of Bihar, the number of berths will also increase. Currently, the Garib Rath train going to Bhagalpur has sleeper class coaches as well as AC chair car coaches. Now it will have only AC three tier economy coaches. Till now 16 AC sleeper coaches were being fitted in the remaining trains going to Bihar. Now all Garib Rath trains will have 20 AC sleeper economy coaches and one guard cum generator coach each at the front and rear of the train. Due to increase in sleeper coaches, 352 berths of AC sleeper coach will be increased in each Garibrath Express.
