Garhwa: Anger increased among Hindu organizations after the saffron flag hoisted on the occasion of the consecration of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Pasi Mohalla of Ranka sub-division headquarters was thrown into the drain. There was a tense situation in Ranka city for some time. But, the administration pacified the matter by convincing the people and assuring action against the culprit. Earlier on Monday, the news of saffron flag being thrown in the drain spread like wildfire. After this, a large number of youth from various Hindu organizations started gathering. They started raising slogans of Jai Shri Ram and demanding arrest of the anti-social elements who threw the saffron flag in the drain.
Miracles of some people of the locality
It should be noted that there is a large population of a particular community in Pasi locality. It is alleged that this is the work of some people of the locality only. After receiving the news of this, BDO Devanand Ram, CO Shiv Pujan Tiwari and police station incharge Shankar Prasad Kushwaha reached Pasi Mohalla with their team. Within no time, a large number of people gathered there and started demanding the arrest of those who threw the saffron flag. Police station in-charge Shankar Prasad Kushwaha got the saffron flag thrown in the drain removed and immediately purchased the saffron flag from his personal expense and got it installed at the same place. On the spot, BDO Devanand Ram, CO Shiv Pujan Tiwari and police station incharge Shankar Prasad Kushwaha, all three officers assured the youth of Hindu organizations that action will be taken after detecting anti-social elements. After this the matter calmed down.

During this, Shubham Jha and Ranu Rajkamal Singh of Vishwa Hindu Parishad said that the saffron flag has been hoisted with respect in the entire country for the consecration of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. Everyone is celebrating the consecration of Lord Ram in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. But it is unfortunate that the saffron flag is being viewed with hatred in Ranka. He demanded the police station in-charge to arrest the anti-social elements within a week. People from both the communities were present on the spot.
