Now Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 has beaten Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ on single screens in Tier B and C cities in advance booking. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has revealed that Gadar 2 has witnessed ‘extraordinary’ sales of advance tickets, crossing 76,000 bookings for its opening day. Information from Taran Adarsh indicates that PVR alone has sold 33,000 tickets for the first day of Gadar 2. Also, INOX and Cinepolis have joined the boom by selling 25,500 and 18,100 Gadar 2 tickets for August 11. This is a total of over 76,600 tickets already sold for the film’s opening day.

Pathan will earn handsomely on the first day
It seems that more than one lakh tickets of the film have been sold so far. Booking is also great in INOX, PVR and Cinepolis. It is being speculated that the film will achieve the second biggest opening of the year leaving behind only ‘Pathan’. Industry analysts estimate that the film is all set to take a massive opening at the box office and may take an opening of over Rs 20 crore on Day 1. Pathan received a huge response from metro cities, before taking it across India.
