Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar has been one of the most talked about and successful films of the year. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film was the sequel to the popular 2001 release Gadar and marked the return of Sunny and Ameesha as Tara Singh and Sakina. Like Gadar, Gadar 2 was also liked a lot by the audience and the film is doing wonders at the box office. However, the performance of Gadar 2 declined after the release of Shahrukh Khan’s blockbuster, Jawan. Its popularity has continued to decline in recent times. But, once again the collection of the movie increased over the weekend. The film directed by Anil Sharma earned around Rs 1 crore on the 38th day. After which the total collection has become 519 crores. Gadar 2 has been stalling at the box office for almost a month. The film had earned Rs 23 crore on the first weekend. It earned Rs 8 crore on the second week, Rs 7 crore on the third weekend and Rs 1 crore on the fourth.
