Digital India In G20 Summit: The G20 Summit has started in India and some of the major digital public infrastructure projects of the country have been showcased at its venue. These include from UPI to telemedicine service e-Sanjeevani.
‘Digital India Experience Zone’ has been set up at the venue Bharat Mandapam where guests will be able to experience the journey of Digital India through virtual reality. The government described this zone, which has been set up in Hall No. 4 and 14, as a ‘major attraction’ of the summit venue.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) based language platform Bhashini, Aadhaar, DigiLocker and Diksha portal have also been showcased here. G20 delegates will be able to experience the progress made by India in the field of digital public infrastructure through the e-Sanjeevani ‘Kiosk’.
The G20 summit is being held in Delhi on September 9 and its venue has showcased some of the country’s major digital public infrastructure projects. Major attractions of the summit venue
The government has described this zone as a major attraction of the summit venue, which has been set up in Hall No. 4 and 14. Exhibition of use of latest technology
In a video post on the social media platform X, a glimpse of the various facilities set up for the delegates at the India Mandapam for the G20 was offered. These also include ‘RBI Innovation Hub Pavilion’ and ‘Digital India Experience Zone’. In this short video, G20 Chief Coordinator Harsh Vardhan Shringla also gives a glimpse of the offices set up for representatives of all member states and invited countries. Shringla said in this video that the Digital India Experience Zone showcases India’s digital public infrastructure and the use of cutting-edge technology in the country’s development journey.
