Wives of leaders from Turkey, Japan, Britain, Australia and Mauritius and other guests visited the exhibition at the NGMA.

According to media agency PTI, ‘After lunch at Jaipur House, the wives of some world leaders visited an exhibition organized at NGMA which started on Saturday itself. ‘Roots and Roots’ exhibition gives a glimpse of India’s civilizational heritage, ethos and inter-relationships. NGMA, under the Union Ministry of Culture, has a rich collection of artwork including paintings, sculptures and photographs. According to the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav website, the then Vice President S Radhakrishnan inaugurated the gallery at Jaipur House in 1954.

Earlier, wives of some world leaders visited the Pusa campus to learn about the cultivation of millets. The source said he expressed interest in learning more about millets.
