National Food Security Scheme (NFSA) is one of these schemes. Yes…Gehlot government of Rajasthan is providing packets of oil, spices, sugar and pulses along with wheat every month to more than 1.10 crore families related to this.
Let us tell you that on August 15, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had launched the ‘Annapurna Food Packet Scheme’ scheme. The Chief Minister had announced in the budget to provide free wheat and other kitchen ration items to the families belonging to NFSA. Under this scheme, by holding separate tenders in every district, the rates of packets of oil, spices, sugar and pulses are being fixed and distributed after reaching the ration shops.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said that running public welfare schemes for the common people is the responsibility of the governments and the right of the people. According to the government statement, CM Ashok Gehlot said that under ‘Annapurna Food Packet Scheme’, free food packets are being distributed to one crore six lakh families from August 15, 2023. Beneficiaries are being provided free Annapurna food packets along with ration every month.

-one kilo sugar
-one kilo salt
-100 grams chili powder
-100 grams coriander powder
-50 grams turmeric powder
