Four people have died after being hit by Utkal Express train in Jharkhand. Four people died on the spot after being hit by Utkal Express train number 18478 between pole number 260/18-22 of West Yard near Gamharia Railway Station. At present the deceased have not been identified. In the presence of railway police and officials who arrived after receiving information about the incident, three bodies from the down line and one from the up line were seized and sent to Tatanagar by relief train for post-mortem. OC Ghulam Rabbani, who reached the spot, said that four people had died in the incident. The dead have not been identified. The reasons for the incident have also not been known. The incident took place on Thursday evening at around 6:40 pm. The line was cleared by lifting the four bodies from the tracks. Due to the incident, railway operations on the said track were disrupted for about two hours.
