Four IPS officers from Bihar will get the Union Home Minister’s Award for Excellence in Research for 2023. These police officers will be given this honor for excellent work and investigation. Apart from this, the name of DSP Rakesh Kumar, who is the SDPO of Kharagpur in Munger, is also included. The ministry has announced to give this medal to 140 officers across the country. Along with this, an appeal has been made to the DGPs of the state governments to send the names and designations of the officers to be awarded by August 19, so that a gazette notification can be made.
